The upstairs hallway is an interesting space in the house because it is open and a lot of light comes through it as a result of the windows and wall cut outs.
NOTE: The main reason these photos are dark is because I wanted to illustrate the view more than the hallway itself. A hallway is a hallway: walls and the occasional cut out and/or nook, space permitting. I love that I can see trees outside the windows in the upstairs hallway.
My piano keyboard is in this hallway in a nook that could easily be used for a desk, armoire, built in bookcase or children’s toys. It is a great space for people who love to collect things or need a little more space for something where they cannot find space elsewhere in the house. But please no unpacked boxes forever in the space!
The upstairs hallway is a surprise: versatility and extra space a buyer does not typically expect.
