On Day 5, the scenery became more and more dramatic. As Robbie said, “It gets better and better.” Days 5, 6, and 7 were scenery driven. Scenery is a good reason to go to Ireland. So much of the country is left untouched and the scenery is dramatic and thrilling.
At the first stop on Day 5, before the daily drinking began, our group posed for a photo. We traveled to Ireland with the Sanctuary Ski Club based in Chicagoland. I had met the trip leader, Georgia Lange, on the New Zealand FAM Trip. Since I had always wanted to go to Ireland, and had some money saved, I decided that this year was as good as any time to go. I knew the tour operator and the trip leader and felt confident that they would make the trip special. My expectations were met and exceeded.
We enjoyed the trip participants and would love to travel again with the Sanctuary Ski Club.
