Irish Coffee at The Red Fox Inn

It did not take long on Day 5 before the drinking commenced. It got to be a joke for several of us on the trip. A few trip participants partook more than others. That became a joke as well.

When in Ireland, raise a glass of beer, of whiskey, and of Irish coffee. One would conclude we were all alcoholics at this point. The drinking started at 10AM.

I had had Irish coffee in the United States before, but nothing like the Irish Coffee at The Red Fox Inn. The cream was fresh Irish cream and the whiskey was Irish whiskey. The coffee could have been crap, but with fresh cream and good whiskey, I could not tell.

After drinking our Irish coffee and browsing the gift shop, the group walked behind and to the left of the restaurant/bar to see an old gypsy wagon and the ponies. Apparently, the Kerry Bog Pony is special and is sold one day per year. We happened to be in the area on this day.

I asked the gentleman in the photo if I could take his photo. He obliged.
