Christmas Decorations Around Interlaken

I loved all the Christmas decorations around Interlaken. I enjoy Christmas most for all the decorations. I send out Christmas cards every year, but I am not a big Christmas shopper. I know that shopping is not the purpose of Christmas, although US retailers would like us to believe that it is!

One thing I noted in Switzerland is Christmas decorations started to appear on December 9th and December 10th once we reached Interlaken. I did not see many Christmas decorations in Grindelwald. I feel that Christmas is not a retailer’s jackpot in Switzerland. I found this refreshing. Yet, I would have liked to see Christmas decorations appear sooner in Grindelwald. Such a Catch-22!
